Happy New Year to the subscribers to “Senior News and Resources.”
I would like to introduce you to an improved format beginning in 2022. Beginning this year, there will be an increased emphasis on video interviews and guest articles by other local attorneys, healthcare providers, financial experts, and anyone else who provides goods and services for seniors or caregivers.
The first video of the year is presented from Jenkins Law Library at 1801 Market Street in Philadelphia. Jenkins was the very first law library in the United States and some of our county’s forefathers were the first members. Today, it ranks as the fourth-largest law library in the country. I was there researching how to plan for “digital assets” in an estate. One of my colleagues will present us with an article on that topic in a day or two.
This year, features in this column will be broken down into four categories: medical issues, legal issues, financial issues, housing, and community resources.
Pay attention to the tags that accompany each article as you will be able to search through the blog for articles on any particular topic by using tags.
If you operate a business that provides services to seniors, please feel free to write a guest article. The goal for this year is to also present Zoom meetings on certain topics.
I do receive calls from subscribers asking that I cover a particular issue and I am happy to oblige. Call 484-451-6612 or write to news@lifespanlegal.com.
Although every article is covered in at least one local Patch newspaper, we are working on connections with larger news organizations for 2022.
Stay tuned as we look forward to an exciting year ahead.
